I'm Carl Hanes, a Eureka tattoo artist and owner of a Eureka Tattoo parlor.  I'm a self-taught tattoo artist living in Eureka now (was from San Francisco area). I started as a tattoo artist in 1990 and haven't looked back ~~ doing tattoos is my calling.

Tattoo art has always told a person's story.  We sum our past, present and future lives in tats. A tattoo is a sort of living chronicle of our lives; and a tattoo is permanent.

That's why it's really important to think out how you want your story told with each tattoo and get a good tattoo artist to do the work.
